I was with strategic for a little bit over a year and a half. I saw the program. Let me tell you that the program did not even stratch the surface when it comes to things that I saw during that time. I wont be ever putting that on my CV. There are at least five examples that I can think of off the top of my head that put everyones safety into question, and they could of ended up as major incidents.
The current crew are now all from Aviation Australia. They are ones that have paid $5000 to become a flight attendant and while they have done a decent ground school there is no way that I would let my dog get on-board that A330. The maintenance is non - exsistant, duty limitations and crew rest.. hahaha what a joke, the management bully staff into whatever they feel like doing at the time. Dont even get me started on the foreign flight deck or half english half portugese manuals and training. What a joke.
The operation should be shut down.

I think you will find that all none of the crew in the Darwin base have worked for Australian or overseas based airlines and that they ARE from Aviation Australia with the exception of maybe one or two who have worked for regionals. Everyone else who knows how an airline should operate either left or were fired for raising safety concerns.

If you were rejected a couple of times I would seriously thank you lucky stars you were not subjected to employment by them.

Not scrapping the surface

Hi Chris

I totally hear where you are coming from and thought the same about the report myself. I can't believe you actually lasted 18 months! Done better than me. I for one noticed some safety mis-haps within the company that could have been avoided.

But on a good note, good luck to them and their existing crew.
