Soz it's not related directly to original post but i've just been offered a position with Titan at BOH. Any1 with previous experience of the company able to tell the truth about ehats it's like there?

Dont't know of any crew based at MAN or plans to base an aircraft there. Currently all crew based at STN. As Pax Agent says they are looking at having people out of BOH this summer. Last year the crew positioned from STN to BOH.

Pax agent asked about Titan, I used to work there, left and work for a much better airline now. Sbys every day, you dont have a life when you work for them, cant do anything on your sby unlike a normal airline coz of their "go nows" 30 mins to get to aircraft. Pay is daily rate of £45 regardless of how many hours you work. A lot of positioning in taxis all over the UK. A lot of flights lined up for summer apparently. Only temp contracts offered in beginning, youll be kept on if your face fits. My advise dont bother, look elsewhere.

but remember that for me although there may be other airlines/better airlines perhaps i can gain experience with Titan and still live at home in BOH. I'm also thinking of the £££ here! I'm glad to hear they've got flights lined up. I personally would enjoy going all ova the place to crew and sby's don't bother me as long as i actually get used on some of them! lol! I've accepted the offer now so lets see wot happens. Hopefully i will be busy! any chance u can give me a heads up on this busy schedule??? (maybe a PM???) thanx neway!

now u see originally i thought BOH crew would just be filling BOH work. I suppose wen that a/c is needed it is the BOH crew who will posn with it to wherever it's needed. Obv very few of the above airlines operate from BOH so i'm sure there must be some moving around going on. I suppose if they got a call and they only had crew in STN they would have to fly a/c to STN then onto wherever is needed. This way the crew can be there quicker. Does that make sense??? Have i got the right end of the stick?
