1:50 ratio
I'm not sure why the discussion of the 1:50 is being lumped under IR/EBA as it involves neither, but I think it warrants some serious thought.
I personally have worked under a 1:50 system overseas and it is disgraceful. The next step after allowing the 1:50 is permitting one crew member for 2 doors (NZ has already given a concession for 3 crew on a 737). I have operated a DC10 (8 doors) with only 6 crew members!
Please lets not go there - contact whomever you need to to express your concerns on this!!
