I find 'airport' frustrating as it tends to give too many chavs airtime!!

They should just be shot on site for even attempting to board drunk or gobbing off at staff,as opposed to becoming the heroe of their local social club!

I was asking really as I was curious about a couple of things.

How much training do the guys and girls get in restraint etc ?
Do you appreciate helpful passengers getting involved ?

I'm actually a copper and I was told once to let crew know that I was on board and would be willing to assist if they had any grief ............... I would help anyway but I'd feel a bit of a donut for telling staff that in the first place !

this is a matter better not discussed on a public board.
And as a member of the police force you'll surely know your place in case of trouble.
