Heathrow, live near or far?

is it better to live near heathrow and tube it to work, or not care where you live and drive.
If so. do BA SH CC get parking allowances.
( I do like driving to work - odd hours and scared of the tube )

KEEP RIDING THE TUBE DEAR...WE CANT LET THEM WIN!!! but i do agree...im terrified of it!!!

But back to your thread, I live west of the m25 so I drive to work. We have a BA crew carpark which is just beside Compass and you get dropped off at it first after each flight which is handy! Driving probably more advantagous if you are on SH as you will have very early reports...this also means traffic will be great at that hour of the morning. But as for peak times I would probably suggest public transport as the traffic around LHR can become nightmarish!!! But it sounds like you have the option of both so you are a lucky camper! Also remember that LHR now has the new Connection rail link through west london so maybe that can be an alternative to the tube!
Hope you enjoy BA!
