Unhappy Outcome of my Virgin Interview

Hello everyone,

I had my Virgin Atlantic interview on wednesday 13th of July and since then I haven't been able to sleep. I had a great experience with the Virgin recruitment team. I totally fell in love with the company once more.

I called Virgin today to ask them about the outcome of the interview but they said they couldn't tell me over the phone. But the lady told me that they mailed my letter on the 14th and I should receive it soon. I am really scared that it is going to be bad news If i got the job they would probably have called me instead of sending a letter? I am really freaking out guys please help me out.

Have any of you guys got your offer from Virgin in a letter? or did you guys get a phone call? I am almost in tears now.

I would appreciate any help.

Ed.

I had my interview back in June and received a letter telling me the outcome. I got the job and start a week today!

If it's a big envelope it's good news!!

Good Luck and fingers crossed for you! Keep us posted.

Thank you very much for the replies. I will be waiting for a big envelope with all my heart. I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out. I am really nervous and I really feel like I can't be happy if I worked for any other company but Virgin.

Good luck to you on your training Gizmo. Has it been easy finding accomodation near the training center? I am really happy for you that you get to start in a week. I wish you all the best.

Any news yet???

Wasn't too bad finding a place to stay, VS do send you a list of numbers though. I've managed to find a place about 5 min drive away from The Office/Base

I am devastated. I got rejected. I can hardly keep my tears to myself. This really doesn't seem fair. Why was I good enough for BA but not for Virgin? This world ain't fair.

Good bye Virgin

That's terrible news! I'm sorry for you.

Is there no way that you can apply again?

Make sure that you try and get some feedback from the interview and don't be fobbed off with a one-liner.

PM me if you need any advice

It's not all bad eserifog...Just reapply in 6 months time!

The majority of VA CC have got the job second or third time around so don't be too disheartened.

Thanx a lot for the support guys. I think I will start my BA training and see if I would want to reapply to Virgin in the future. If i got in Virgin, I had no doubt that I would have accepted the offer even though BA's pay is better. But now having to wait for another 6 months, it feels like torture.

Keep up the good work all you Virgin crews. I still love Virgin Atlantic with all my heart. Everything always happens for a reason.
