Can't agree more with you. I was asked by a Flight Attendant (EK) for my number once. A collegue of hers came over as the whole crew knew what was going on and she didn't want to get told off. I was so chuffed.... She never called tho But that didn't matter. It made me feel great.
Lets all be that little bit nicer to each other, give a little smile. Just try it and see the response

Popped in for a look see from the mil aircrew forum - great thread - will ensure that I pay the appropriate compliment next time I fly civ air. I tend to find that if I am pleasant and polite from the outset I get that little bit of extra special attention!

I flew into Almaty with BMED on the 18th December and met a very pretty Spanish Flight Attendant (from Valencia). I now regret very much not asking for her number
