QF Manager remuneration for sickies

Have just been informed that management get (directly related not overall productivity) bonus's for reducing number of sickies taken by cabin crew - hence in perth, the reason for managers ringing up crew at home when sick to check on them.......

Thoughts?

Its true blue loo. Everyone one from bitch mole Jill Johnson (base managers) up to Dixon are being paid bonuses to control sick leave.

Remember that if they call you at home you don't have to tell them anything. As long as you've reported sick to ops and follow the EBA rules they can't do anything.

You should also report any instance when they call you at home to an FAAA rep. I think Grant Ormaron (not sure if I've spelt his name correctly as I'm realying on memory) is the WA branch rep.

If you don't want to speak to an faaa rep directly, put the details on paper and post them in the faaa box at base (next to the door where ops sit)

You do all know that Perth Management is a law unto themselves, far far away from the workings of the current EBA and off in never never land most of the time

STR,

...."bitch mole". Pleeze explaine!

And yes, a lot of Qantas types are paid big buck$$$$ if they can succeed in reducing the high level of 'sickies' those in their 'care' are taking. Other targets as well as sick leave.

Apologies if I'm butting in here, but just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many days on average Qantas cabin crew tack as sick leave each year?
