I would like to add one thing re the Air Atlanta 747 300 s which irish cc mentioned working for travel city in the winter boy how the galley FM is doing overtime again!!

The aircrafts in question are ARS and ARU Air Atlanta (Icelandics) own aircraft not Corsairs, ARU has just finished on a contract flying for Corsair and is still in its original configaraton only Corsair are flying with 580 seats, and yes it is possible no galleys at the front just mid and aft on main deck and the upper deck is half yankee class and a very squashed business that is the secret!.

Further more it looks like these aircrafts are contracted already for hajj so dont expect to see them in in the UK for long if at all.

AS

EAAC is dead, perhaps, but is European Skybus about to rise up as the replacement for EAAC?

Aunt Sally...

ARS and ARU will do the Garuda hajj, as you stated....

Two new -300s will be delivered, they are ex Corsair.. and they will go on the AAE licence, andf be G registered.

Irish CC

Corsair have been having problems as they did not have enough capacity to cover their routes as they are waiting for the delayed delivery of 2 new 400s which did not arrive therfore air atlanta was asked to operate for them in the busy season, they are still waiting for aircraft and is doubtful they are selling any at the moment the 1st 400 was supposed to be operative in June and as far as I know has still not arrived yet.

But lets wait and see maybe we are all wrong who knows what the master plan is in iceland there are many rumours and speculations at the moment.

i went to am interview for BMI and there I met a lad called Fransesco who works for EAAC.

He says they are great and he has just finished a round the world trip. The reason he is looking elsewhere is "the company are only offering 6 month contracts and he needs more stability"

He says that they arnt recruiting at the moment either.

He told me they went bankrupt and are slowly coming back
