I've seen it. VERY nice. Won't post details on here, but a looooong way ahead of the nasty (off) white t-shirts, and I understand that the old puffa jacket is consigned to Oxfam as well!

If the only reason you want to be crew is for the uniform, youre in for a shock!
All tea and toilets.....
And you wont want to wear your uniform for long before or after work, because it REEKS of ovens and other minging aircraft smells! Vile!

Oh, come on - like you don't care what you look/ feel like in your uniform? People who say they don't care what their uniform is like usually are the ones that have to wear ugly uniforms!
You are in public, people can see you (don't you care what you wear when you go out?) and most importantly - if the uniform is not comfy or is made of some cheap material that is not Hot - Weather - Friendly - you will not be happy wearing it for those Oh - So - Long duty hours.

On the contrary, i wear possibly the nicest uniform of the airlines at the moment! and I also wear it with pride.
But what I mean that the novelty soon wears off, no matter how lovely it is. So if thats all people care about when they look for an airline, they could be missing out on a company which is perfect for them.

New uniform........I wish.
I work for baby and must say, i look and feel like a scrubber in this s**t they expect us to wear
It sooo does matter what your uniform looks like, if you look nice, you generaly feel happy, but it is embarassing when the pax look smarter then the crew.
Unfortunately, the latest rumour is that we are not getting a new uniform because their spending the money on bhx base which is happening in Jan.
But the thing that makes me laugh is that they've kitted out the baby flight deck with new uniform, Why do they need it?
Anyway thats my whinge for the day... im of to work now in my lovely.. em uniform.

Yeah, I should probably rephrase it - only people who wear nice uniforms say that it doesn't matter what they look like. Or people who try to make themselves feel better. I went from wearing a gorgeous one to an ugly and uncomfortable one and then again nice one. I still remember the feeling of "please, people, don't look at me" and then "look at me know!" later.
I think it is a bit silly to "redress" FD but not CC, - they are not as much seen as CC. Maybe they had very uncomfortable uniforms (for sitting?)
Anyhow - I hope you get your uniforms changed! We changed bits and pieces recently - feels different and better and it is important as now I like wearing it!

the new baby uniform is due to be released on jan 1st to conicide with the opening of a new base!!
the rumour about the money for the uniform money being spent on a new base is rubbish
the uniform is to be brought in with a sort of rebrand of the airline, apartly leather seats, new base, new year, new uniform but we will see!!
the new uniform is supposed to be red aswell...

just thought i'd throw in my 2p's worth.
i have actually worn the new uniform!
i wore it at the uniform launch we held at nema a while ago. i was one of the catwalk models!
i have been cabin crew for the company from its birth so know what its like to look and feel like a scrubber.
i cant wait for the uniform its been a long time coming.
yeah its supposed to be here for the start of bhx!
but i'll believe that when im wearing it!

just think mainline meats easyjet! and your nearly there!
and it aint red! THANKGOD!

the pax don't give a toss what u look like . All they see you as is a waiter/waitress in the sky. Uniforms are not supposed to lok smart. they are designed to keep everyone looking the same and economical. believe me when you have to start payong for you to dry clean it then things will be different. Come on guys, you had a school uniform and never complained, so whats the difference????

i am sorry jettesen but i have to disagree, the pax on some baby flights (ie IBZ) just take the 
cause they see no authority in the uniform, not that we are looking for power!!
the uniform shows some authority, its just like if the flight deck came on in a t shirt and slacks the passengers would be very hesitant towards there compitancy just becuase of what they wear, i think that 1st impressions is the phrase that comes to mind!!

so are you saying that police men / women get respect everyday as part of their job just because they wear a uniform??? BULL!!!!
The uniform has nothing to do with respect. It is how YOU come accross to the public which is most important. If you come accross as beong shy and timid, they will play you on that. Uniforms are nothing nowadays

The whole fashion industry is driven by the known fact that people are affected by what they wear.
I do not work for baby - but I have flown with them a few times - and as I pax on their flights I agree - the baby uniform is tatt!
easy's is 100% better (I don't fly for them either)
