Personally I can't wait for it to come out, its got a smart look and by all accounts is better wearing than the current uniform.
Not too sure about the tie though, I thought we were getting different ones!

It's very classic 'BOAC' I particularly like the hat which tops it off nicely...I am very impressed it is certainly unusually stylish for this day and age...I hope it is as practical

I'm reminded of an experience some 16+ years ago, when as a television director, I was assigned to make a non-broadcast programme (for BA) about the last-but-one "stripy" uniform for crews.
Unfortunately, at the time we made the programme, the real print materials had not been received by the uniform makers, so some bright spark at BA had a load of uniforms made up which had poster paint (or similar) stripes painted on to the white fabric (shirts, blouses, ties etc.). At one point, we had a short scene where a group of cabin crew had to walk from a LHR pan, across to an aircraft. So far so good. Unfortunately though, it started to rain. Within seconds, all of the "models" resembled an explosion in a paint factory.

I think it is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to have something similar for our new uniform at DL, but for some reason getting f.a.s over here to consider a hat is difficult. What do you guys think of the hat? I love it!

As an ex-british airways employee I think it looks fantastic! It once again will give british airways an 'edge' over some of it's competitors. People will once again 'want' to fly 'the world's favourite airline' If they also do a new ad-campaign to go with it to revamp the airlines image after the demise of concorde & dwindling passenger numbers to LCC's etc I think they'll once again get it right. Add some of that lovely opera music they play alot & you've got an airline to be even more proud of than before. Well done B.A.

All I can say is that I can't wait to get into the uniform!!!! It's stylish, practical and sexy!!! But c'mon guys, lets vote the hat back in!! I think all us crew should wear it, we'll all look so good. can you imagine us all walking through the terminals in that uniform with the hat! We'll look fantastic! But that's just my opinion...hehehe. I know Im gonna be first in line on Monday to book my uniform fitting appointment!

I find the new uniform dull-bland bordering the boring but it is a new garment so I welcome it with no reservations and I can t wait to wear it in the hope to change my mind about it.

Congrats to all at BA with the upcoming stylish new rags!
Very "stewardessy" with that retro look; will be great fun to wear I reckon. With all the down-grades in what we actually do on board and the loco's breathing down the necks of the old companies, looking the part of the glam FA should be a good feeling.
Having now worked for 14 years in the same ill fitting monkey suit, I am dead envious of you lot!
