maybe they are planning an operation from Shannon but at present they have nothing based there. Their ops and admin are based there but no aircraft apart from when it is lying idle looking for work.

Cabin crew pay is rather complex.

Some are on an hourly rate upto a point when it becomes cheaper to pay you 46€ . Generally it is paid when away from base when you night stop or once per duty period, and I think it is only paid once.

for example:
1800 start.............................0600 finish = 46€
1800 start......Night stop.......1200 finish = 46€
0600 start..... Night stop........1800 finish = 46€

Note, they have a different set of FTL's which are outside CAP371 and JAR .

When on lay off last summer, I set up 3 interviews with EU jet (all in SNN, transport at my own expense, even though the base was not SNN but UK or mainland EU). Every interview was changed or cancelled by EU Jets. Finally about 3 months later, I was invited to interview for a BHX based position, no accomm provided as it was BHX fixed base, but I wasn't interested in working out of BHX and getting my own place up there. (no offence to all you BHX-ers!).

I've heard they are a fun and relaxed place to work, but there seems to be a lack of stability and an element of disorganisation there.
