Talking Excel Airways Ya or Na?

Hi everyone,

First visit to this forum. Truth is I am scared, being ATC we usually get the blame!!

Can you help me out?

A friend of mine has an interview with Excel on sunday, (now i've heard it all!)

Do you have any tips I can give her?

This is her first Cabin Crew interview and is for a temp Summer contract for Manchester base.

Thanks everyone, will try to keep summer slots as little as poss.

I think we should ignore the previous post from BoeingBoy until it has been deleted...
XLA is a good place to work. Sure it has the usual dis-satisfied little campers, but where doesnt. Now is a good time to come aboard. As a rough indication last summer we let go about 90 seasonal cabin crew in Manchester, and over 3/4 of them are now back or lined up for upcoming courses.
Guess it depends what you are looking for in life. If you want week long trips to Tokyo on expenses, or frequent nightstops in Ibiza in the summer, then you will never be happy.
If you understand what the life of a hostie is really about then XLA at MAN is certainly a good place to work.
And interviewing on weekends means you people dont have to bunk off work midweek - why is that so strange?? If you think its strange that hosties work weekends then definitely dont bother applying!
Good luck
(and i realise its not you but your friend....)

BoeingBoy2003,
it's been said before on this Forum that you are free to express your opinion as long as you bring arguments to your statements, especially if they are as strog as the ones above.
