Hiya - still waiting to hear from the Gods at HQ - but worrying a bit at the raucous sent out by the 'Against CVT airport' crowd...............dont they know we've got jobs to go to?

Hey all!
Well, haven't you seen the latest news! Geez, I couldn't write a soap opera this complicated! Well, at least they're all talking about us...
Apparantly TUI/Thomson have acquired the lease at CVT from Air Atlantique. What exactly this means I'm not sure, but it seems like TUI have their sights set on running CVT as well :-).
Maybe thats whats with the delay Richter, I think you might have been put forward for Airport Manager hehe! You could be our very own Jeremy lol. Aah well, you find out tommorrow right?

So Richter any news yet??
I spoke to H.R and they say that flights WILL be running from CVT and on the 31st March so it looks as if it is all go!
Now that TUI have brought CVT people seem to think that other low cost and charter airlines will operate from CVT providing the annual passenger figure does not exceed 2 million!
Any ways take care and Richter let me know a.s.a.p!

Aaaaggghh - looks like I did crash and burn - not heard a sausage.............maybe I should go knocking on some other doors!!!

Just had my interview today and thank god i got the job. Sounds really good as well.
My training course does not start until 5th April but have been put on stby for the 15th March in case someone drops out. If i dont see you there will see you all at work at some point as i will be one of your lovely seniors. You lucky peolple.

I am on the course at the mo with Thomsonfly (The Very 1st One). It is at CVT at the TUI house, where most of the training is. There are also your doors and touchdrills to be done in East mids and Heathrow!
I am having a great time and really enjoying it, everyone is so friendly. Might see some of you flying soon.
