Channel Express

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any info regarding working conditions, etc.. at Channel Express. What is the management like and are they a friendly bunch to work with?

Would love to hear your views....good or bad!!

Thanks!

Currently 3 bases, Leeds the Jet2 base scheduled low cost and busy, Edinburgh mainly series charter/low cost for Globespan, and Stansted mainly ad hoc charter. Work varies from very expensive cruises to deportation flights for the home office, sports teams and sub charter work although a 737 in a 124 config is not the best machine for the sub work. This is the quietist base but the cabin crew are rostered to work on the other bases from time to time.

I find the cabin crew on all the bases to be a good bunch, easy to get on with and fun to work with. Passenger reaction as I stand in the galley area seeing passengers off the aircraft is allways good.

I speak as a pilot, so obviously I don't see the activity in the cabin, hope this answers some of the questions and I am sure the cabin crew will fill in the others.

Which base are you thinking of joining or is this just a general company wide question?

It was just general info I would like about the company and the work conditions. Is it different dependant on where you're based??

I find Channel an excellent company to work for, everyone is a friendly bunch. The type and amount of work varies from base to base as 4Screwaircrew has already said.

Just ask if you need to know anything specific.
