no I am not cabin crew, but I suppose I am a little curious in the fact that if you push these carts around the cabin all day, who on earth would like one at home, perhaps galleygirlapu would like two so that she can take the other one for walkies, now who's sad!!!!!!!

sevenforeseven, I am a cc and even if I spend my day pushing the cart up and down the cabin I would still like to have it at home. Actually, I would like to have any part of an aircraft at home, but a think that a couple of flaps around my room would be rather unuseful and and I wouldn't have place to put them at home! A meal cart, instead, is not that big, is something that u can only find on board and it has room inside to store things....
i think that some pilots would like to have some part of the cockpit at home, but very few have it....
this can be sad...but IMHO it is as sad as having eg. Pamela Anderson's poster in your bedroom....and nobody complains about it!
many happy ladings

I know where I could probably acquire one...given the right moment
But you'd have to come to UK (or Spain) to get it...
You don't mention whether you want KSSU or ATLAS? might give you compatability problems with your kitchen units
PS. I have a very large collection of catering boxes as modular shelving in my office...retro or what

There was a concorde one on Ebay a few days back with a start price of £3000!
As for those who think its sad... is it any different from have clocks made from aircraft instruments, models of types you fly, etc. ?
