Britannia asking back?

Hi guys/girls

Just wondered if anyone knew roughly what percentage of the initials Britannia usually asks back in the following season?

Being one of the initials from this year im keen to find out what my chances are, im sure there are a few of you that have been in my position.

Anyway iv got my fingers crossed!

Cheers
Dave

Depends on a few things. If based at LGW or MAN I'd say good chances, LTN, a bit iffy, and did you have any "sick" days off? If you did, start looking for a winter job. They absolutely hated "casual" days sick, although Britannia nowadays is a totally different airline to the one I flew with. In those days Luton was a large base and the Austravel Australia route kept us all flying through the winter. Now that that's gone Britannia I think shrinks in the winter, leasing many larger 767's to Corsair and other TUI partners.

Hi
I had 3 occasions where i was ill since Feb12th this year which is more than some but much less than others i know.

Iv really got on with nearly every single person iv met. Everyone seems to be dead nice and im hoping they think the same of me!

Im based at Manchester and the winter program is very busy with long haul.
My question is more aimed at whether they will ask me back after the winter rather than during the winter?

Cheers
Dave

I should think so. If you've not been in any trouble I don't see a problem. Most of the old dragons I knew at MAN have probably gone or hopefully died a nasty death by now, so I wish you well for 2004
