Advice needed
 

Hello all!
I had my FI june 18th ans send my last pending doc 10 days later (passport copy)
Its almost 4 weeks since my FI and nothing has changed at all. My status is still applied! I think its unheard of. I know some get stuck with an under review or approval in progress for weeks but mine hasnt even changed. Never got, like some of you, an email saying we have received your docs, or the declaration form..nothing at all. Like I dont even exist and never went to that OD.
Should I call them to ask if they have received my file (its been almost 4 weeks) or should I wait the 6 weeks? If I do wait the 6 weeks and then they tell me oh no we forgot about you or oh we thought you had received the unsuccessful email or this or that...I mean I dont know. Better know now. Some of my friends got their declaration form already last week, another didnt but his status changed to "under review"...I'm forgotten!
I could really use some advice on this one. :(

Is it too soon to expect an invite? its a little over 2 weeks from now.

.. is it a bad idea to try and call up the recruitment agency or just wait?

Yes. Week number 6.
My statut is UNDER REVIEW since june 4th.
I did'nt receive anything from them at all.Is it normal that they wait so long even to send a negative anwser? anybody aware of this kind of situation?

Hi Chapter, I've been "Under Review" for 6 weeks as well. Had my FI on May 30. I guess they just make communication in phases and some hear soon if their applications are processed sooner. I've been in contact with folks from our group and everyone is still waiting. Have you thought about calling or emailing? I may do that next week since it will be over 7 weeks by then.

It's frustrating to wait this long I know! Let us know if it changes.

Hi there hope you guys doing well , i heard from a friend that all depends on the recruiters you had some of them they go back directly to dubai and then your application poceed sooner and you get a quick response my group for exemple : Our fi was june 19th and already 4 people got their gc.
Some recruiters keep on travelling after your final interview and may only get to dubai a week or more after ....
I know it's so frustrating to be kept on hold without knowing but keep your hope high i'm sure the good news will come along soon :)

yes, thanks, i have checked it now. I havent got the invitatio for July either...
September is sooooo far away. I dont know why they keep on posting the ADs and nobody gets the invitation.
By the way my status for thr July AD is "applied" I dont remember exactly how it goes-should it change to be "under review" or it is only after the AD?
I really hope that we will get to be invited for the July AD. If you get any news please keep us posted.

Hello guys. I have processed my medical tests and uploaded them to the portal, except for the vaccination certificate. I first thought that they would not accept them without the vaccination certificate, but they did anyway. So does that mean that they will vaccinate me while Im in Dubai? Is that why they have accepted it? Thank you for your answers :)

hello all i would like to find out if it is possible for one to receive an invite to an assessment day to another country other than their own incase there is no recruitment event being held in one's own country. any prunner over here that has recieved an invitation in a different country or they only consider residents of that particular country? curious to know:eek:

EK wannabe YES you can get an invite even if you're not a resident in the country it is being held. As long as you fulfill de requirements needed, you're good to go to an OD or to apply for an AD to get your invite. :ok:

They will give you all the vaccinations that you are missing once you do your medical here in Dubai. it might be cheaper or more expensive. depending which vaccine are you missing!
