4 weeks and counting ....
 

It's been 4 weeks since my FI - I'm worried ... I haven't heard anything at all and my status is still under review . 3 people that I know of from my FI got the tattoo form after a week and got the golden call a week ago ... Did anyone else go through something similar and then get the golden call ? xx

Rio/Sao Paulo is not an A380 destination at the moment- it will be run by main fleet.

Riyadh is not confirmed by commercial so I wouldn't post it on the list yet.

Don´t worry!
They know that is normal to people have this kind of questions and they know also that some people have to resign from their jobs.
They understand.
But has we can see before the final approval they don´t want to commit with a date.
So we have to wait and hope that everything is ok.

Heyy all!! Howdy to all the FI Wannabees! :ok:

I have a question to someone who has worked/ currently works or someone who has any idea of what a "3 year NON-BINDING contract" means?

I know this is a contract made between the company & individual, but I want to know whether its strictly intended to keep us in Dubai for 3 full years?
And what happens for example we have to return back home (before the contract is finished) due to personal reasons.

Are there any legal or financial punishments involved or no?

Hello everyone!!

As i said before, i had my OD on saturday (7/01) in Lyon, France and it was successfull, my FI was on sunday. We were around 80 people at the begining, and for the FI we are 17-18, many gentlemen are shortlisted, that's very good for them! we were a very good groupe! my interview was loooong: 1hour 30! it was really intense, and i didnt feel the time running lol now i have to wait :confused:

now i just want to know from when we can see the recruitment process online?(approval in progress, in review etc???) i already have an account on the emirates website, but do we have to wait an email from them to go through a link or its automatic?

i m ex qr crew in case u want to apply for emirates and u re already working for qr first u must resign from qr and wait for 1year than u can apply for emirates but etihad is ok
it s a contract btween the 2 companies

well meaning i have to wait for another 3yrs to join EK. I think its best i complete the 2yrs with QR and do something else for the 1yr and then try with EK.
I am not sure of EY. Which company you working for now?

I finally got my GC!!!! My DOJ will be 19/02

I just had my Final Interview today, now the waiting begins. Lets hope for the best and wish me luck guys!. I still have to take the proof of employment to the hotel and leave it in the reception, the ladies said it was ok cause they were leaving on wednesday.

Its weird, but in this assessment the finalists were more guys than girls, 8 guys and only 2 girls. I think i read here that on the saturday's assessment on Lyon it also happened the same. Is it possible that this time the recruiters had order of recruiting more guys? Or is it just a coincindence??

I also have a question, i oppened my account on the Emirates Careers website, but i dont know if i have to apply to the job so i can check the status or is its just going to appear later. I try to apply to the job in the page but it appears to be just the walk in arabic speaking option, and the date of the assessment of my country has disapeared so i cant apply like that. Should i apply on that page that appears to be the walk in option, or just by having given the same email of the account to the recruiter the status is gonna appear by itself in the next days after the ladies arrive to Dubai??
