You're so sweet! 🤣 They are probably more strategic than tossing up between two. Second language is probably big plus but language they have stated they need is probably double plus and this is after passing questions, AD, xref and checks. Then if a medical is not up to standard (which could definately be mine 😬

Qantas love language speakers especially now, Hindi is big one on the top of list right now as well as Japanese, German-Italian ect Iam a Japanese speaker, the only down fall is your used a lot more on the sectors your language is spoken.
If you have applied with a language on the application you will definitely be ranked high at the top of the active hold list

Internal email regarding initials training:
The training priority for the group remains NZ & UK-based crews, of which constant ground schools are scheduled, including the first group who are currently in Abu Dhabi.
- Cabin Crew Initial training (CCI): three training courses have now been added in the month of August for existing crew requiring the full CCI course. This includes crew returning from extended leave and crew who were not able to complete training prior to the start of COVID.
- Cabin Crew Initial Training – offshore (CCI): CCI training for QCCUK and NZ crew will be continuing over the next few months as we right size the bases to pre-COVID levels.
