Tattoos?

Hi everyone!

Just applied for virgin australia cabin crew based in auckland nz. I want this soooo bad, only got 3 more weeks of my course studying airline customer service.

the only issue i have is my tattoos. i have one on each upper-inner parts of my arm. the short sleeves wont cover it completely but most of it. i was wondering if anyone knew the companys policy on this? If i can cover it using special tattoo makeup cover or those skin coloured sleeves to cover it?

I rang up VA headquarters and asked an ex cabin crew member. she said that she had a tattoo on her foot and she used to use the special tattoo makeup to cover it and that VA does have long sleeve tops (although i have never seen them being worn) SOOO....

can i wear the red blazer on board? can I cover it with subtle plasters and makeup? can i wear the skin coloured sleeves?

It seems that BNE was taken off the advertisement last night when I checked again. What a shame

Will just keep my eye on it and keep my fingers crossed that they start recruiting BNE in the near future.

Recruitment days in Sydney

Hi All

Has anyone heard of VA holding any recruitment days for the Sydney base anytime soon? I applied for cabin crew a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything as yet, but a friend of mine applied for ground staff and had an
AD on Tuesday this week. Perhaps they're doing ground then cabin crew?

Hi all,
I hope everyone is progressing well through the recruitment process! My question is about domestic vs international flying. With Virgin Australia Sydney based (current application) can/do you have a choice between flying domestic or international only?
Roughly how many days/nights are long haul and short haul away for each week?

Brisbane AD

I'm attending my first AD in Brisbane on the 22nd of this month! I have a few questions:
1. Can anyone tell me what kind of interview questions to expect?
2. How long is the process between the first and second round of interviews as I am booked to go on holiday on the 26th. I can't cancel as it's for an incredibly important occasion but I don't want to miss my chances of the second round of interviews if I'm successful!

Any replies would be gratefully appreciated
