Question - is the position only for people that currently live in Dublin? Are they provide accomodation?

You would most likely have to relocate to dublin. I don't think Aer Lingus provide accomodation, but Emirates do in Dubai! I wonder if Aer Lingus provide accomodation/pay for the 5 weeks training???

Aer Lingus does not provide accommodation. It's up to the candidate to locate themselves within 90 mins of Dublin Airport

How did you find the interview? Does anyone know anything about the type of contracts on offer? Has anyone been to a medical or uniform fitting with aer lingus before? Just wondering what they involve?
Best of luck everyone!

Hey, I had my interview yesterday, done my medical today, the uniform fitting is on Friday and training starts Tuesday. The interview was grand, just a few scenario based questions. The medical was just a general health check. Hearing, sight, blood pressure, pee test just the usuall. Just waiting to hear about the time for the uniform fitting on Friday now.

Yes it is full time. It is a nine month contract to begin with with the possibility
Of being extended. However the recruitment process is now done .

fish

Training is 4 weeks and we start flying straight away.
The contract is 9 months but we where told that they ate hoping to keep us on.
No news on what the salary will be. I think we are to embarrassed to ask. The had 50 possitions to fill and have 3 training courses going on right now.
As far as I know from what we discussed at the induction day they are finnished
Recruiting for now, so I don't think they will be taking any more on untill mabey next year, but that is just an assumption on my part.
The only night stop we will do is on LHR. We will not be doing transatlantic right away but one of the trainers said that they will need us for them sooner rather than later!! So fingers crossed!
Think I've answered everything I can!!

To operate a transatlantic flight you need a US visa, which requires that you have a permanent contract. Aer Lingus will only make crew permanent if they really need to. They've plenty of permanent crew at present to operate the small transatlantic schedule.

Theyre still recruiting, but for a panel, as advertised

Hi Guys

I'm in a holding pool for Aer Lingus CC. Has anyone else heard about another training course starting Monday? Or in the future??

Thanks in advance
