Tenerife EK Open day
Hi all...
In September 2011, I had attended EK's OD in Tenerife, Spain, where I was unsuccesful. I have just found out through their website that they are organising another OD for 28-Jan-2012. I understand that 6 months time have not passed, but can I still attend and have the possibility to qualify?
Or will I get automatically disqualified?

Hi Guys, I did my FI today...
The recruiter was über friendly, but with my friend she was kind of not-so-friendly.
I came out with a good feeling, but after I just start to think what I might have been doing wrong during the interview...

Today i Got the GC yuhuuuuuuuuuuu and my Doj is on 29 Jan....uh gosh i was sleeping when they call me so before to understand what about is i thought i was dreaming ghahahahahaha

hi all
i need some informations pleaseeee.. The recruitor told me by phone that is not necessary for me to do medical tests but only fil and sign the forms and send them and after i will do all the medicals in Dubai ..so my question is why, if from what I've read all people do the medical tests before the DOJ?
Does anyone know something regarding this issue???

Alessia congratulations! I heard that these are new rules. Now (probably from this week) emirates are paying for all medical and vaccinations. I didn't know that it will be taken in Dubai not before going there but like I said before I heard form somebody who spoke with manager of HR that emirates will pay for medicals.

well i thought this too, just that today the recruitor told me that is not necessary to do the medicals in Italy where i live this because i will do it in Dubay..i don't know tomorrow i will call regarding this question

hi all ; getting closer and closer to my doj
had my ad in september got my call on the 24th september leaving date was extended so i could finish my degree . doj is 22nd jan, and I just got my results passed my honors thesis with distinction. cant wait to see everyone in dubai. all the guys who made it in my batch are there already having an increadable time xx

Hi, you should wear business attire.
And, here, in Brazil, we had to bring:
English Resume
2 Passport size face photos – business attire and smiling (ladies must wear make-up and hair tied)
1 or 2 face/full body photos (casual – any type!)
Be yourself, and, Smile!

Hey everyone I just wanted to congratulate all of the new EK cabin crew! I just recieved my GC a few days ago and I am currently in the process of completing my medicals. (I hate needles) 
My DOJ is 29/1/2012 from JFK and my training starts the 8 FEB, anyone else starting then? Im almost finished with my medicals, I am just waiting for my results from the blood tests (HIV-VDRL HEPB HEMO). Soooo, We have to get a chest xray, up load it, and bring it with us to dubai? My doctor is wierd about giving me the orginial copy. I think i am just going to have the Doctor upload the xray on a CDformat. Is anyone else a little confused as to what we do?
We will be enjoying the Dubai sun sure enough

To the openday, here in portugal, they asked for your CV in english, 1passport size and 1full body photos. To dress...dress something formal, NOT short skirts like some people i saw :/ knee lenght skirt is the best; skin colour stockings; hair tied is better (so they can actually see your face); and use some make-up (not much).. and be sure your nails are ok. All of this if your a girl..of course...lol Good luck
