I am sorry to hear that you are waiting for that long… and yes, from the end of last year and beginning of this year the male candidates have been punished having to wait longer than girls. I was even advised by the recruiter about it and I met some other guys in here (pprune) in the same situation. Right now I have no idea how the waiting process is going.

Hi,
I am planning to go for an open day in London this month but I am 34 years old male. Do you think I stand a chance. I applied for an Assessment day but got rejected (think it's because of my age). I've read here that someone got in at 33, question is anyone outthere had an 'older' person in their group when it came to their FI?
Replies would be appreciated.

Thank you Kenza3, I was begining to lose hope but you came to the rescue. It is unheard of though that anyone over the age of 33/34 to enter Emirates Cabin Crew.
I will now be going to the open day thinking that I may have a chance. Thank you so much and well done for getting in especially at this age.

The reach test is with one hand, but don't understand what different does it make?!?

It does make a difference as you can reach higher extending one arm than doing it with both at the same time, just try it yourself at home.

hello - anyone know why we cannot access our account on the Emirates website? been trying since yesterday and still i cannot access it.

is it because they are updating the website or something?

I have been able to access... they POSSIBLY could be looking at your file!! My group's calls started coming in from around 2 weeks after FI. So a week or two of 'in progress', to 'you will be contacted', each status change I could not log in. So try later today after close of business in Dubai.
