Accomodation

Hi,

To anyone who has recvd the accommodation information, where did you get it? Was it on the portal or do they call and give it to you? My DOJ is one week away so I hope to find out soon...

Thanks in advance.

OD and AD Experience

Hi guys, here's a run-down on what happened during my recent OD and AD conducted by Emirates (not agency):

RO: two pretty ladies in their early 30s

Day 1 - OD (Attendance - 180 people)
Video presentation on Dubai and EK, Q&A, registering of CVs in the morning. Received call back to attend AD the next day. Attendance around 180 people.

Day 2 - AD (Attendance - 40 people)
a) learn about person to the right and present to group, at the same time, reach test was administered
b) group discussion I
topic: create and name an airline, decide on where to base it, which destinations to launch, how the uniforms look like, and the slogan
c) group discussion II
topic: your city is hosting a major sporting event, decide on which areas need improvement and which areas to promote
... elimination
d) English language test & lunch break
e) group discussion III
topic: 5 things to change which would benefit the environment
... elimination
f) filling in of paperwork & scheduling final interview
g) psychometric test

Day 3 - FI (Attendance - 18 people)

Quite a draining experience, but hopefully it's all going to be worth it!

dental requirements

Hi all

Could some one let me know in detail what is needed in relation to the dental report please? Is it a form that needs to be filled out or just a written letter from your dentist?

thanks in advance and best of luck to you all!

The Certificate of Dental Health is a form provided by Emirates that needs to be filled out by your dentist. It includes information about filled/missing teeth and etc.

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Hey people!

Has anyone here been invited to Belfast's AD?
I live in Dublin and applied for it before they announced OD'S in Cork , Galway and Dublin and today I got a 'computer generated?' e-mail inviting me to any of these three OD's and my Belfast AD's status went to 'Under Review'.

I just thought it'd be better to skip the OD and go straight to the AD as it was gonna happen in Belfast...but anyways.

So , anyone?

OD: Open Day -- AD: Assessment Day, just in case.

Spontaneous and Riverplate

Spontaneous, thank you for your quick reply! Very kind of you! Riverplate, let me know if you choose to go to the Dub open day! I will be there! I am also "Under Review" and had the option of attending any of the three OD's in the RoI. Best of luck if we do not meet!

baggage limit

i know that Emirates allow us 50kgs , 50 lb each bag but the thing is that when you leave from Trinidad you have to go on continental airline ,to US or London ,which is only allowing ONE bag check-in!!!

any advise on packing tips ( trying to avoid paying for an extra bag )

Baggage

Hi there, just a quick note re: baggage allowance. I'm taking a connection flight with Aer Lingus which also allows one bag. However Emirates FedEx'd a excess baggage coupon for Aer Lingus today (DOJ May 17th). No need to worry, they should send you a coupon.

Hello everyone! So I have been told that I have been chosen for the Cabin Crew job, just starting all the online pre-employment process. However, I can not download the medical forms... I have tried calling and emailing the HR department at Emirates but have had no answer...Is there anyone else having this problem too? My start date is 5th July! Thank you x

Resignation Letter

Hey everyone

OK so I am a student who is working part-time so I dont need to upload a resignation letter, I emailed Emirates and put a note on the faq's section on the portal; anyone else do the same? and if so does the 'resignation' section become complete once you have done so? that section, for me, is still red.

thanks guys

x

Resignation

As I am a student I wasent required to submit a resignation letter. I sent them a query through the portal, and got no reply. Then I recieved an email saying the letter was overdue, so I sent back another query, and called them also. Left a message and within 24hrs, the resignation section was completed.
