Question EZY bases

Will ezyjet ever open a base in Alicante? Hoping they will soon, anybody have any information at all please?

There are lots of works going on at ALC to expand the airport. Maybe once the new expanded airport is fully operational EZY will set up a crew base there. A few years ago there were also strong rumours about it. Have you heard anything? FR already has a crewbase in ALC and another one in VLC.

Not any more they haven't! Why would you want to work for easyJet anyway? Low cost means low terms and conditions for all; there are better airlines out there.

I don't believe there will be any time soon.
The official line of the company at the moment is, that there won't be any new bases in 2009.
Although of course, they may change their mind if they see an opportunity so you never know for sure.
They seemed to be pretty focused on Italy at the moment though.
