MAM Recruitment for Qantas in Oz
Hey guys,Since its a wannabe forum here...
Do any of you have recent goss on MAM recruitment? I see that Qantas is recruiting directly (since the last time I looked into it, about a year ago) and was wondering have they completely done away with MAM?
It really seems like no one ever gets into MAM! Or Qantas... don't they need to hire though?!
Would love to hear any goss that you may know regarding MAM's recruitment process and whether they're still doing it for Qantas...

I got an email literally a minute ago from [email protected] to say that recruitment is still on hold until further notice. I got another email regards qcca at the same time. Identical email.
Rumour is at least February before they start recruiting again

No plans for any more recruitment into MAM. They want to do away with casuals, keep those they have and recruit into this new company which has been mentioned. My guess is, anyone on hold with MAM may be offered positions with this new company once they decide to get it up and running, or offer them QCCA when it starts recruiting again.

hey, those on hold from the last MAM recruitment this year in May-June may be offered positions with the new entity in short haul or Qcca as Little Red Hat Said, have friends on hold with MAM. I was on MAM hold from 2007 and was offered Qcca 12 mths after waiting for a MAM position. Who knows hope u all hear soon, have heard on-line January may be the next ground school......good luck
