No-one knows what that means mate!!! " You " as a person?????? ...as a

That's just words joined together in the vain hope that it serves a purpose!!!.. like a drunk man relying on his feet to get him home.

Thank you for your feedback all taken onboard.

Thread rescue alert: Snowbound the name of this thread is BA - Wannabes & Recruitement IV, there are quite a few outthere who take some useful adviCe from this forum. So would it be possible for you to add some constructive comments for a change rather than always trying to seek an argument or be the ultimate cynic?
Many Thanks!
Ps: are your recruiting criteria people who love to skinny dip, have room parties (hope you paid for those miniatures!) and who don't like peeps (sic) from other countries?

BA Assessment job offer, e-mail or kept behind?
I had a BA assessment day today for cabin crew. I was told by someone that if you are asked to stay behind for aministrative reasons that it means you are actually being offered the job. And at the end of the day, 2 human resources people asked 4 of the applicants to stay behind. I want to know if this is true. Has anyone experienced this. Is BA true to their word and they contact you via e-mail a few days later? Please let me know somebody. I am so anxious, I really want to work for BA, and need to know. Thank you.

I haven't heard of anyone who was successful who didn't get asked to stay behind. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that seems to be the way it is. There's a big thread over on cabincrew.com about it in the BA forum.

thanks
thanks for answering. soooo disappointed. i can't understand how they can choose people in matters of minutes. they must be choosing purely on looks and not considering the big picture like applicants are led to believe. do u know the name of this thread please? thanks very much xx

so I was kept behind on the assessment, and had my references checked. I also had to sign documents around airside passes and criminal checks...from what was said during day they wouldn' be doing this if we weren't thru to the pool? Or I am misguided?

British Airways Assessment Days for February 09
Hi out there, could anyone please tell me what the B.A. assessment day consists of since they have been recruiting for the holdpool. I've been on the other forum sites and everyone is talking about it but nobody is spilling the beans. I know there are various parts but the numerical reasoning terrifies me - is it really as bad as it seems, and what kind of subjects does the presentation and factfinding excercises throw up. Any help on this would be brilliant. Come on someone - give us a clue...
Thanks a million...

British Airways Assessment
Hey 747girl,
I had a BA assessment this week. There were about 12 of us there and we were split into two groups. Firstly we had our height measured and we had to sit in a crew seat and adopt the brace position. Then we went off in our groups. We had to introduce ourselves to everyone and then do a group task. After the group task we all went back to the reception area. The first half of the group were then called individually for their 2:1 interview, whilst the rest of us had a presentation on BA. Then we swapped over.
If I were you I would really prepare for the 2:1 interview and have lots of examples ready.
We were all then told on the day whether we were successful or not (they said they didn't usually do this, so don't know whether this will happen with your assessment day).
Unfortunately I didn't make it so I guess I will just have to try again in 12 months! (I think it was down to the fact that I didn't give some very good examples in my 2:1). There were no tests or exams and overall the day was very relaxed and there is nothing to worry about. Hope this helps and good luck!!!
