This is really frustrating!

The AD is getting closer and I still haven't heard anything whether I'm invited. Been both emailing and ringing them without a reply.

How long before the AD do they usually let you know?

Hi guys,

Got my congratulations email today! And it probably has a bit of info in it for those people wanting to know whats going on with their training dates:

"Please be advised that Etihad Airways are currently finalizing the Cabin Crew training courses for the last quarter of 2009. Your application will now be placed into a holding pool until such time as these course dates are confirmed. On confirmation of course dates and availability our administration team will continue with your joining formalities and will contact you to advise of the next stage in the process."

So it looks like their training courses won't be until Oct/Nov/Dec, which for me is actually better. But it def sounds like the next training courses will be end of 2009. Anyone else from Sydney assesment day get this email?

Interesting that the majority of remaining open days are based in Eastern Europe ex soviet nations and also russia... Wonder what thats about

I have an aunt that lives in Belgium, would consider going to the open day in Brussles but its liable to get cancelled too

Etihad recruited cabin managers from Qantas... true or false

I heard that EY recruited cabin managers from Qantas, I do not know how many and if it's true or not.
And was wondering if anybody knows better...

etihad again

Hi all!

Since the previous thread is now closed, I'm posting here, hoping that people will follow me.
I hadn't been on the forum in a while but it still amazes me how some people get soooooo defensive when their airline is being criticized.

Where I come from, freedom of speech is a right and helps improving things. Etihad airways has a very strong policy “dear cabin crew suffer and lets enjoy” seriously it is becoming disgusting looking at all these management every day announcing a new service a new destination or holding a road show in one of the most expensive hotels in abu dhabi for Mr. CEO to show off or in front of poor cabin crew. Laundering the uniform on cabin crews’ days off or changing hotel contracts is just out rages and it shouldn’t come from a company like Etihad airways just because they have suck up people who wants to prove they are working by inventing this stupid ideas. When accompany as big as Etihad airways if they ever want to think to cut cost they should start from those top management…
Please show some respect towards others' opinions and views because you certainly don't hold the truth!

And for those freaks: GET A LIFE!!! (Sorry just needed to let it out!)
those new joiners enjoy this is what’s waiting for u…
Happy flying to you all and no hard feelings HABIBIs and HABIBTIs!!!
