They are scamers that they have office in Denver,CO but they say they are using a sim in Miami FL and other state. So, they take your $$$$$Money and have you run around.
As far as Instructor goes,.....It is very sad. they have little next to none info,...At least the one that we had to deal with(I do not want to say name!!),...But anyway my advice to you take your money and turn around and run!!! and Run as fast as you can and go to other place but FTI.:ugh::yuk::yuk::yuk:

Horrible Prices!

These details are nearly a decade old, but the prices are still offensive, even in in 2015/2016 dollars. Short of the owner/pilot for whom cash is not an issue, I cannot imagine anyone having to buy a BizJet Type Rating with personal funds, perhaps based on some fantasy job. At the end of the day, any private BizJet operator who is already pleased with a pilot's credentials, will cough up the bucks for a the necessary TR and consider it part of the cost of operating the airplane; they can afford it or they cannot. Most sincere best wishes to those in the field or wishing to enter same, but please guys (and gals) hang on to your personal bucks and do not spend them on Fantasy Flights.
Why are these TR's so darned expensive? Well beyond the provider's need to generate some profit, the vast majority of the hands-on training is done in full motion simulators, owned or time-leased by the training operators. The sims are extremely expensive. Again, hold on to your personal funds and... Good Luck!:yuk:

Keep pay for rating out of the corporate rating. If your qualified the owner will pay. I did a recurrent with a guy that had paid for his rating....was shocking.

Anybody seen an update to type rating costs in 2019?

CE525 $12000 seems to be the going rate...
