cost of CL-605 rating

Hi,

How much is a CL-605 rating these days? A former colleague of mine told me he was quoted about 50,000US. It seems excessive. I think my company paid around 30,000US about 2 years ago.

Save your money bro. World is full of 604 pilots. Plenty of 605 guys standing in the wings also.

Hi, may be the GLEX rating?
But without experience on it, difficult to pass through an interview.

Why are pilots now happy to throw away 30,40,50K on a Self funded type rating.
We are in the game of being paid to fly not PAYING TO FLY.

I find it strange that I can get typed in an Airbus cheaper then a Citation.

More training providers = more competition = lower prices.

Size of airplane does not correlate to the cost of training. Amount of money in the pockets of those who can afford a $30-50M private jet does.
