You can change the name of something but if the contents are still the same expect more of the same service form them, With one 17year old Hawker 800 i'm sure they'll be offering a good charter price, just enough to cover costs to bring in clients, then when it goes tech they'll sub-charter in and lose a grand or 2 per flight, Sound familiar...
Shame, they lost a lot of good people..And some not so good

Get a grip, the new owners will be looking to build, if the team needs bolstering in places then I am sure they will do that.
Without a doubt Oxaero and Gregg Air have a contact base that anyone would want, even if they are now with other suppliers, a good sales guy making service level promises that can be delivered should certainly bring enough back into the fold to keep one Hawker going.
I cannot believe for a second that the new owners plan on carrying on with things as they have been done in the past.
Lets remember that an exec airline is not about selling hours. Selling hours is the bi-product of offering good service. With one Hawker you only really need 2 good people in the office and 3 crew members. If they can get this right and then grow organically and build a more suitable fleet I see no reason why it can't work.
It's a new era, let the past go and wish them luck (unless that Gregg bloke has anything to do with it of course)

Interesting Phil that you think that it's easy to find good people, so many operators seem to spend a little bit longer looking so that they recruit people who know nothing about the industry.
Anyway, I'm a bit out of touch, so what's left of GreggAir???

Bacardi,
I found it hard to get pilots, I found it hard to get a post holder. All they need at Gregg Air is someone to oversee service levels.
Decide on exactly what product you want to deliver and measure how close you get to this, i'm not talking aviation people, i'm talking office managers, which are not all that rare a beast.
There is no point in having sales people untill you have a product that you can sell,

Greggair seem to be in a losing battle. A name change won't change the overall package, so yes, having a product to sell would be useful. Begs the question, how are they surviving ??

We did find our Ops guy, and pilots are a constant battle because the nature of Seneca guys is that they move on to larger aircraft.
I think the only thing they have is a client list and an AOC.
