Go East young man ?

It may seem a little stark, but perhaps vodka can revive the dead ?
Anyway, if you were foxy in this situation looking East may be the solution.
Anybody want to help fill in the details ?

The original post was removed for a reason- can admin please tell us why?
A lot of people have been affected by the actions of this operator over the last 2 years and it is right a forum exists for those who remain interested.

latest rumour is of a move to FAB and new owners from the east?

Good points, Anarchist. One cannot help thinking that pressures may have been brought to bear by GA to have the thread removed ....... wouldn't have helped the negotiations would it?

Surely, our PPruner mentors would not have succumbed to such undue interference.

There must be another reason. Perhaps.

4HP, can you enlighten us?

We've had various approaches, from a number of parties, during the life of the previous thread to close it down and such a recent request/demand caught Danny on a day when he was rather preoccupied and he's parked it in a quiet side-water to rot.

My advice is accept the spring-clean, get this new thread going with current events & news concerning Greggair and we'll field the incomings.

Good luck Daifly! I hope you get your money. I waited 2 months for mine and that was when things were hunkydorey.
I hope for the crews sake this rumour is just that, 'a rumour'. A nicer bunch of guys you couldn't wish to work with.

I would only like to know the real inside story of what has happened inside this company over the past two years, the damage done by the Austria lot?

The Gregg's have little idea how the mismanagement of this outfit affected individuals far and wide. RIP farmhouse. Into the aviation compost bin you go!

Hmmmmm, let's see..... 1 Premier that a) keeps breaking down (don't they all?!) and b) isn't actually owned by them, and a 125 that hey, keeps breaking down!!! Well, it seems to spend a lot of time in maintenance, maybe it's broken or the facility won't let them have it cos guess what... maybe they owe money!

It's been reported that the previous thread, interesting though it was, was hounded out of existance by Greggair management. Maybe in an attempt to stem the slating they were getting. Can't blame them, but they should think themselves lucky. Those Goldair boys really know how to bitch. One respondant got it absolutely right when he suggested 'who'd want to be flown around by this lot'! Check it out, see for yourself. Greggair... you may have shameful management but as for the troops... dedication and professionlism were never in doubt.

Well, 2004 was a £4.1M loss according to Companies House, against £634k the previous year. £2M of which was lost in the disposal of assets (though my accounting skills prevent me from working out what they were).

G-NETA isn't owned by Gregg Air or Houston Jet Services (dba Gregg Air), it's owned by Mr Gregg himself.

Yeah, I think the purchase of G-NETA by the owner was this 're-finance' that was going on. However as it's now for sale or sold (!) rumour has it that all you could hear from the Gregg household once the sale went through was 'Doh!'. Bit like buying shower gel instead of bath salts... you think that it might do the trick but all you get is a big foamin' mess!

The Fat Lady has not been invited on-stage yet, but she's waiting in the wings.
