I may have an interview here sometime in the next few weeks. Does anyone have information on what the interview is like, culture, work life balance and so on please?

I suspect the OP may be asking about actually interviewing and working for FSI as opposed to interviewing at FSI for NJE.
I've never worked for FSI but I've been a customer for decades. I've trained at FSI Farnborough quite a few times. It doesn't strike me as a very happy place. I can't tell you exactly why. it's just the vibe it gives off. It's not awful and staff don't seem miserable but they don't really seem to love it there, either. I get a feeling that work life balance is not fantastic except perhaps if you live nearby with your family etc. It's still shift work, though. I think they are pretty much always looking for instructors. The classrooms are windowless and so are the sims, of course. So not seeing the sky for the entire workday probably ads to the gloomy mood in the place. It doesn't help that everything else is pretty generic and grey at these centers. The technology used at FSI is pretty impressive and so is the professionalism and knowledge of many of the instructors there. All not very specific, I know but it's all I can tell you.
