New Bombardier Biz Jet

Some numbers published seem to indicate a significant technology step?

1 Supersonic during testing and nothing fell off
2 cruise Mach 0.94
3 best of all - cabin altitude 2900ft.

how is it done ?

It’s “just” a lightened Global 7500 with an expanded envelope.
My understanding is current 7500s can be “upgraded” to 8000s, similar to G650s being upgraded to G650ERs.

As the saying goes, you can’t polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter

It's difficult to imagine someone not liking the G7500 if they've flown in it.

You may like to call it a glittery turd but at least it isn't limited to 15kts of wind.........

Hmmm, my jet is limited ("demonstrated", we know it can do more) to 35 knots of crosswind. The Global not so much with its stalling wingtips.
