FAA in Europe

Hello All, I am a holder of an FAA CPL(MEL IR) and EASA PPL(SEL) and live in Europe. I intend to convert my licence to EASA but I am aware that this may take some time unfortunately. In the mean time I might have come across an opportunity to fly as SIC on a multi-pilot biz jet. This brings me to my question. Has anyone ever heared of a temporary faa licence validation to fly EASA registered aircraft? Or can a SIC be FAA(Including type rating) whilst the PIC will be EASA?

Thanks

Chris

Thanks for the information, do you know if there is an EASA regulation covering this or it's solely up to the local aviation authority?

Regards

You do need an EASA licence. Its an EASA aircraft, in Europe. You can get a validation, typically one time for a year, just google EASA CPL validation.....
