Global Jet F/O position

Hello guys,

I would like to ask you about any experience with GlobalJet Concept/Luxembourg company. To be precise, I`am interested in Bombardier Global 5000/Express/XRS first officer position.

Thank you for your time!
Ciao

Thank you for respond. With my current company I`ll have the same. Any idea, what`s the reason for that in Global Jet? I have noticed on ppjn that it states the same like "no chance for upgrade".

Before I joined bizav, I heared only delicious things about Global Jet, now it`s all gone...

People only stay with them until they find something better - unless the owner (client) don't let you go. The company CEO is known to be a circus clown.

They don't upgrade FO's and typically hire direct entry captains.

Guys,

do you have any info about BD700 bases in GlobalJet? I would really love to hear about Nice, Geneva, Luxembourg etc. Are most of their aircraft for charter or only for owner use or mixed?

Any infos appreciated!

I do agree with Klimax, the reason mainly comes from the big management board, ,a lot of promesses and nothing will happen, even you are French or not!
I know a couple of French Glex pilots who have resigned.

It just amazes me why outfits treat their pilots like that. Promise them something, then keep your promise, or at least try. From a safety prospective alone. Is an unhappy pilot as safe as a happy and contented pilot? I say no. I've worked for some very wealthy owners years ago. one or two, were unable to keep a deal or a promise even if they tried. Surely common sense would dictate, if their backsides were strapped to machinery, operated by an unhappy crew, that doesn't enhance safety.. Or does it? I would want crew with their minds on the job, not distracted thinking about when their pay is in the bank or not, for example.

We all make mistakes, however if we ALLOW ourselves to be distracted or rushed, the chances of mistakes are greater of course. Standing up to some of these clowns, does come easier with experience.

operators in bizjet are not really doing PICUS these days...
it comes down to demand for captains from the operator. seniority doesn't influence the decision on who becomes the captain as well
