UK captain salary on Lear 60

Hi

I I'm being offered a position to be lead captain on a UK based private Lear 60. I have to give my own salary requirements for this job.

I have no experience with salaries in the uk and want to find out what a fair salary for a position like this is.

I would say from about £70000 but it depends on schedule, per diems etc.

Last years salary survey had the following:

Captain: $87000 average, $74000 low, $106000 high
Chief Pilot $103000 average, $84000 low, $125000 high

So £70k sounds about right.

I believe some operators pay a Hawker lead captain salary about £80k

Good luck, and if you are looking for any crew drop me a PM

Thanks for the replies. £70000 sound a bit low for lead captain yes, but what is normal in the UK, as far as per diems and bonus, holiday money etc.

This is not the one in FAB no. Would make my life a lot easier if it was.
