You are absolutely right Bizjetjockey. After the rejection i mailed them asking for a reason because i was also fed up with being rejected the whole time without a reason. Of course, no reaction of them but probably a red point behind my name.

Well, i did my best, nothing i can blame myself except not having the williness to join the PTF schemes and working for peanuts.

Good luck.

It works both ways in my opinion. It would be nice if recruitment wasn't so one sided. people are interested in working for you so acknowledge that person's experience by at least allowing them to prove themselves at an interview. It's tiresome being ignored when you show interest and a legitimate desire to work for them. I'll go back to playing my tin whistle at my usual spot for now!!

Vistajet will probably rebase everybody at Malta in order to avoid to pay the local social security in each of their gateway as per new EU regulations.

Great, work and fly the richest for a company that at the other hand can only sustain by avoiding paying social security and paying peanuts...........

Do the customers know how much less their crew makes compared to KLM/AF, LH Crews ? If not -> make them aware, and see if they like it

MAD !

Do you really believe they care? At the end of the day, the price is paramount.

Social conscience of a business jet passenger? I am not a socialist, but this is a contradiction in itself.

What is the typical fleet allocation for newhires? How many from a percentage standpoint these days get the CL350, CL605 or the Global?

Cheers

Unless rated with time on type I assume that new hires will only go to the CL350, since it is their smallest Jet at this time (the Lear 60 will go, if not gone already - long time ago since I saw one at FAB).

It just seems to depend on where there is a need for crew and on the individuals experience level.

You may find the 350 fleet is quite senior with existing Global crews chomping at the bit to get on it.

Happy new year everyone.

Why would a Global pilot chomp over the possibility of a 350?
I would imagine the other way around honestly.

Happy new year!

Dirk85,

Rumour has it that fatigue is the issue. I don't fly there but a mate does and that is what he told me.

I dont know if in this company they are looking to your experience. I see a lot of experienced people getting PFO mails, me included.

I personally think that the german language is an issue.

Just a thought.

Question

I don't know if its experience either!

12,000 TT, 10 years corporate experience world-wide, the last 4 years on the Global, aircraft management / flight ops management experience.

PFO. I'm not sure what it is they're looking for, but best of luck to anyone trying.

As far as I am concerned the suspected language requirement is no issue.

You may have been sent a PFO - so what? Give it a couple months and send your resume again to show them how really bad you would like to work with them.

Thinking you get called for interview after only one application - despite a ton of hours - happens rarely in this industry.

Who makes the call these days? If still NvdM, usual stuff. You should do your homework and research thoroughly where the company stands today in terms of business, airframes etc, etc. If the caller is his nemesis (can't remember his name but he took the FLT OPS MNG chair when the former became ACC MNG) then I don't know but I would be surprised if he stepped outside the VJ-model set before.

Good luck

PZ

Info contract, vacation, base etc

Hi!

Does anyone who work (or other) at VistaJet have any good info on the VistaJet contracts on salary vacation etc? Where you get employed or if you get hired as contractor. Do you get a bigger salary as contractor because of social fees etc?

And if you get hired in ex Malta if they still arrange you tickets from any major airport in Europe?

Thanks!
