Challenger 601 Engine Programs

Hello,
Currently in the market for a Challenger 601 3A/ER, and I have noticed that certain planes do not have engines enrolled on a support program, MSP, JSSI, etc. is it possible to register and older challenger on such a program and what are the costs involved? If the engines were recently overhauled 2500 hrs or less does this reduce the initial Buy In, cant seem to find literature on the net
Thanking you all in advance

You can buy into either JSSI, Smart Parts (engines included) or GE On Point but you must also be on engine trend monitoring for the latter. If you are willing to pay from your own account and be sensible with your payments and to know what you are doing, then a programme is not necessary. However, if you are a beginner on this, then donīt do it. As far as residual value is concerned, then it is always better to be on one of the programmes.

Believe you me, if you know what you are doing, keep off the programme and take the hit on the residual - especially if you might tie your sale into the period when the engines are at HSI or overhaul.

Good luck.
