I'm genuinely baffled by the "VAT paid" request - and I speak as someone who thinks they understand the VAT regime. Any CJ that is (in your words) "based in Europe" must be in free circulation in the EU, and therefore the operators have paid VAT on it.
What am I missing here?

CJDriver,
Yeah you are right VAT must be paid for Free Circulation but mostly the VAT is then reclaimed and then hence when a COMPANY sells the aircraft in the EU that sale is then subject to VAT. However if the a/c is purchased by an individual and not a company or imported via the old Denmark route then the aircrafts vat status is then VAT Paid.
For example I just sold a CJ2+ which was privately owned and imported in 2008 into the EU via Denmark. At that point Denmark charged 0% VAT on aircraft imports so hence this private individual had a VAT PAID aircraft as VAT was paid on it and never recovered so when we sold it we can then sell with NO VAT at point of sale.
I know of a CJ2 which is VAT PAID but unfortunately is too old and only 2 tube so wont work on this occasion so still looking
