Logo'd jets
Dear All,
Can anyone point me in the direction of some good UK based operators who use unbranded aircraft i.e. without their own company name by the aircraft door or on tailfin?
We have a VIP client whom we are sourcing a good mid sized jet and a large wide cabin jet for a series of flights
Recommendations and any tips much appreciated!

Thanks chaps for replies, NetJets isn't an option for this one, Air Charter Scotland we'll check them out.
We may also need a light jet nice CJ2/3 for one of the flights to ferry staff, all further suggestions much appreciated.

It's easier to list the ones that do than don't. Tag, Gama, Bookajet, Hangar8, Twinjet, LEA, Ocean Sky (Hell, they even have a decent handling agent) and pretty much every other UK based jet operator brand their aircraft in some way - be it in small "operated by xxx" letters by the door, safety cards printed on company headed paper or otherwise. Why on earth shouldn't they?

x933........no reason at all that the companies you mention shouldn't add their logo's to the a/c - it's just not Zoe's desire to use one of the companies that choose to logo and you have to respect the client's wish do you not ? Well, presuming you want her business in this instance.

X933 is making a very valid point, most if not all operators have uniforms, safety cards, liability cards, miscellaneous paperwork, serviettes and all kinds of other consumables with company logo from pillows to blankets and cups, let alone an exterior identification.
As a seperate discussion point the operator of the chartered aircraft should be made known to the client, if not by the broker then at least by the operator itself when the client boards, the operator is legally responsible for the flight and not the broker. The whole point of a broker is that it adds value to the client and the broker should not go out of his/her way in trying to hide who the ultimate operator is of the flight.

No RY, I don't know what to say to you other than your message was a waste of time and if you're "scared" by postings on here by me then you should by man up a bit and stop being so precious, I fly as well and "playing broker" as you put it when you have absolutely no idea about me, the company or this project shows the level you operate, step up and try the big game for a change.

Hi OB, there's nothing to develop, I'm not going to waste my time in dialogue that either cannot help with constructive tips or have time to spare to try and pee people off, it shows a poor reflection on attitudes to colleagues in the same industry, in the US there tends to be a greater happy to help mentality and its very rare to encounter this sort of negative unhelpful mentality, its a small world and our industry is all about service, don't understand it when people don't display that.

Case in point here - Centreline. They carry discrete branding on some of the aircraft and Phil is one of the straightest business people in the world and actively refers clients back to brokers.
If you will only put your passengers on aircraft that carry any branding I think it's a very short sighted view on the market - indeed as unbranded operators are very much in the minority in Europe you are almost putting yourself at a higher risk of loosing your client to another operator / broker by virtue of the fact that they will probably identify another cheaper source.
Perhaps you should consider the operators that have a fleet of aircraft suitable to your clients mission and can offer good customer support and try to forge a good working relationship rather than the somewhat blinkered view you currently have? Good clients will come back to you and tell you if they have been solicited directly, don't underestimate the honesty of a good client.
Interestingly, this view seems to be completely at odds with the bigger players in the market place - I have never heard Air Partner, Ocean Sky, TAG, Bookajet, Chapman Freeborn etc have an issue.
Woe betide you if you ever need to book something with more than 30 seats coming from an airline...

There is another point of view, some pax like to have an unbranded aircraft so they can pretend it's their aircraft, however, new brokers are often paranoid about logo's etc, it soon wears off. Unfortunately the lack of branding does not actually guarantee any level of integrity, as you all know there are many aircraft that are completely unbranded, but if the crew pitch your client with a business card.......
If this is not about the pax's ego, then maybe the question Zoe should be asking is which operators are known for their integrity?
