Let's hope the owner doesn't loose his patience, in the long run...

09.09.2010 - CFO Michael Kuhn Promoted to CEO of DC Aviation
German business jet provider to further solidify leading market position
Effective immediately, Michael Kuhn, previously CFO of DC Aviation, will assume the post of Chief Executive Officer and head of operations for Germany’s leading provider of business jets. Kuhn has been in charge of the company’s commercial operations since April of last year. Dr. Lutz Helmig, owner of DC Aviation: „I am happy to entrust the leadership of the company to an experienced manager like Michael Kuhn. We are going to cement and expand DC Aviation’s solid market position in international business aviation. With Michael Kuhn leading the management team, we have ensured that our customers will be offered the highest quality and service standards that they have become accustomed to from DC Aviation.“ After two years of successful leadership, previous CEO Steffen Fries and DC Aviation GmbH have mutually agreed to part ways. „The engagement showed by Steffen Fries allowed us to successfully steer the company through two years that were especially turbulent economically for the business aviation branch. We will continue to build on the company’s stable development,“ continues Helmig.

They need to change Conditions
On the Long run ,the Question is ,will there be Pilots left to fly the Aircraft ?
New conditions (I heard ) force Pilots to be based in Stuttgart and First Officers getting 2200 Euros .
In my eyes a "Slap in the Face !!"
Maybe this time the Flying Personell can somehow stick together to avoid things happening in the Past .
All my Best Guys !!!

The Legacys 'parked' in DUS used to be operated by DC Aviation on behalf of Velvet in Moscow.
They left a lot of unpaid bills with the aircraft's operator - hence the parking in DUS. Strangely enough, it took DC Aviation long enough until the amount due reached a 7-digit number (no, not in Roubles) and the ever so effective management in STR considered to stop flying for them...
It's comforting to know though, that the management back then ('borrowed' from another renowned company...) didn't have to pay for the consequences themselves.
