Cessna 750 Experience

I've searched pprune but no direct aswers were found to my questions on the Citation X. I'd like to have some hand-on, operational experience, opinions on this aircraft. Why did the market acceptance lag behind Cessna expectations? Rumors say it's a hate or love airplane. Why? Particularly interested in your opinion about handling qualities, economy, passenger acceptance, maintenance cost reliability and weak points, too.
Waiting for your inputs, many thanks,
b

The X is a pretty expensive airplane to operate (both hourly and per mile) for having such a relatively small cabin in the midsize range.

The X has a very efficient wing and in combination with its RR engines it's capable of flying fairly fast (up high though, if you're not afraid of radiation) at a surprisingly low total fuel flow. It's a good-looker, you're the fastest pretty much on any ramp in the world (except for some military ramps, I assume) and it's quiet, too.

But: costly to operate, complex (lots of CAS messages which turn out to be nothing, but until you find out, you already had some technicians working on it for a while...), cabin and baggage compartment (not accessible in flight) way too small for this class of airplane and sometimes a handful for the unexperienced aviator.

Many thanks for your answers… I’ve expected a bit more anyway, I’m pretty sure there are hundreds of pilots around with 750 experience. I think the sore point is luggage space measured against the airplane capabilities, at least from passengers’ standpoint.
Just one more: Reading through Cessna litarature on the X I’ve found that there are NON SPLIT BUS AIRCRAFT and SPLIT BUS AIRCRAFT. I am sure it is something with the electrical system. Is it an option or it depends on serial number or perhaps a retrofit?
Cheers,
b

Split-bus was a block change at s/n 100. s/n 150 brought different aileron rigging (less yoke deflection for full aileron deflection) and s/n 173 brought slightly more powerful engines and a slightly increased gross weight.

Both the aileron rigging & IGW are available via service bulletin to earlier airframes...not sure about engine mod or split-bus.
