C510 ratings

hello,

I am currently rated on C525, and have around 400 hours on the G1000 in various aircraft - enough to know it inside out.

Are there any TRTOs who can take this experience into account and offer a cut down EASA type-rating for the C510? Paying $19000+ for a FSI rating seems a bit excessive just to learn that the C510 has a different de-ice system and only one electric driven hydraulic pump...

I have a FAA CE500 SIC rating and when I wanted to do the 525 SIC I searched high and low for something cheaper and could not find anything . There does not seem to be any carry over between the two and I agree with you that there are a few subtle differences . The answer I got was that they are two seperate TR's might as well be two different makes of planes.
