In the rear with the gear.

That story is as funny as it is sad, if it's true.

A few Sid's n Tonic and most wouldn't know the diference betweent the Y class on Saudia or the baggage hold of a biz-jet

Dunno how you'd explain that to the lads on the ramp though when you arrive at the other side.

Maybe put them on the baggage carousel and have em picked up at arrivals hall by a couple of xxxxxxx in jumpsuits.

This incident, if true does not surprise me in the least.

If this is how they treat their wife's, it will give you an idea how you will be treated as an enemy, POW, etc. Please let us not think about what they would do to their enemy's wife's and women folk in general.

I never have, don't and will never work for people from a country that condones such behaviour. I think the people who are employed in that hole, should have a good think, what they are helping to support.

If someone ever accused me of having worked for them and I was unable to refute that fact I could never hold my head up, as I wouldn't want it on my conscience.

Being as this started with "I heard", and nothing has been added to verify anything, maybe the whole issue should be treated with as much contempt a some of the comments.

Well we must be talking about the poorer Saudis who have probably just been able to afford a Falcon or Challanger and lack the style of their wealthier relatives.
Another indicator of this would be the resulting lack of space for all their golf clubs and designer suitcases. Any shopping spree would need to be stored in the cabin!

I know of 1 Saudi Prince who decided to go on a hunting trip and took 3 747's. 1 for him and his friends, another for their wives's and the third for their luggage and servants!

It will be interesting to see how many upgrade to the A380, as a greener option to 3-4 747s', as they will have enough room for their servants as well as their luggage and shopping, a Casino, luxury lounge, strip club and secret bar and of course their Hareem on one of the lower levels!

Totally agree with you So who has enough money to operate that aircraft? My understanding is that it was a "test aircraft" so its MUCH heavier than normal airliners, so i dont think that it will be attractive to any of the present airline customers.....

Whatever happened to their A321?

I might be a lttle bit behind the curve now but last I heard was that the only way the A321 will come out of Fort Worth is if HH buys the company and chucks even more cash in to get the completion finished! Absolute disaster!

Not too disimilar to the A340 we touched on earlier this week!
