JetBird

Still discussing this with my company. Does anyone know what, if any, sustenance payments JetBird pay during initial/recurrent training?
Many thanks.

Why the individual interest in them, you did post earlier a list of all the operator's level of payment (which I see has gone), surely that included all the information you needed?

...Why the individual interest in them
Because they will, by admission, have a very low cost base.
...you did post earlier a list of all the operator's level of payment
I did but was asked by one of the responders to remove it due to its confidential nature. I did as I was asked.
...surely that included all the information you needed
If it was all the information I needed I wouldn't have asked the question.

yes,
But you have received enough info to how things are today..

ergo its not useful to use info from a company that barely exists and btw, will be based in germany initially so will be governed by government rates pertaining to per diems.

These are done country by country basis(and incidently generally lower than industry average) and unless you find a nice German who can send you that list, it makes MORE sense for you to just stick with what you got now.

Why make it worse for yourself?

I'm sorry that it seems unreasonable. Perhaps, as a relatively new poster, someone can explain what question I can and can't ask without upsetting people?
My company will be operating several types, the smallest of which will be a Phenom 100, the same type JetBird has ordered. We will use the same sim. If I know their payments it helps my argument (unless they pay nothing).
Do I need to continue, or does this meet the requirements of a reasonable question now?

Easy tiger, you asked for info and we all gave it. It just seemed that you were basically asking for info you seem to already have, thats why I asked.

Of course you can ask whatever you like, but with your last post, don't expect too many offers of info now.

Per Diem rates are usually a company wide standard, and they are normally supplied in the addendum section of a contract. So aircraft size has NOTHING to do with rates. Its very odd for a company to differentiate based on size, I have not seen anybody do that. A citation pilot will get the same as a Global pilot etc..

What does the same sim have to do with it?

(actually, I like that idea... as a widebody 604 pilot, I need more sustinance to maintain this...erm.. widebody )

My reason for asking is that I can say to my employer ''I get nothing and even JetBird pilots, who operate the same aircraft as the smallest aircraft in our fleet, get £X''.
I can also say '' and as per diem is paid to cover sustenance, and JetBird judge that amount to be £X at the same sim destination as ours, perhaps ours should be the same.''
I have many examples where inter-company fleet sustenance payments differ during sim training, normally due to destination cost of living. One of the the reasons I removed the comparison table was that some companies DO NOT pay their pilots the same per-diem rates.
Can I ask the question now?
