And then there a folks that call a landing gear "undercarriage". How absurd!
BTW I´ve got some 50-60 hrs in the DH 104 Dove, you really need port and starboard in that sweet little kite.
Simuflite and BTC are in the same building, liked their staff canteen. Thats a huge point to me. But then, not everybody is as hoggish as I am.
Sorry for the thread drift....

FSI did exactly the same thing after September the 11th. They laid off all their full timers and used mainly freelancers. To put it bluntly it was a f*%#ing mess and my F2000 type rating at FSI Teterboro under that arrangement was without doubt the worst aviation course, bar none, that I have ever experienced.

as for the original costs question...
... JetAlliance FlightTraining in Austria do the C525 Initial rating for something around 15.000 Euros. Just call/mail them for details.
Good Luck!

Actually I don't "work" at SimuFlite. My reward after I complete the program is a TR of choice on the smaller fleet. I surely wish I would get paid, being unemployed at the moment .
As far as getting price information I would simply call or email the different training centers you're considering and ask for the sales person responsible for the CE500 series. That's what I did when I was looking into the price of a Lear 35 rating once. They got back to me pretty quickly.
They need and want your business right now when corporate flying has taken a steep nosedive here in the US after the public witch hunt for shiny private jets.
Good luck PH

Sorry folks I know its off the thread..
I studied both sets of Nav, oops,.... Navigation exams at ATA Coventry. They heard a phrase apparently used in a CAA exam of 'Athwartships'
Needless to say after hearing that we all studied practical sailing in conjunction with the regular navigation subjects to give us a fighting chance.
