FSI did exactly the same thing after September the 11th. They laid off all their full timers and used mainly freelancers. To put it bluntly it was a f*%#ing mess and my F2000 type rating at FSI Teterboro under that arrangement was without doubt the worst aviation course, bar none, that I have ever experienced.
