JAR Beech 350 Type Rating

Hi there,
any ideas of training organizations able to deliver a JAR Type Rating to fly a Beech 350 (with pro line 21) ?

Thanks

Flight Safety, Wichita, KS. As far as I know that's the only B200/350 PL21 simulators around!

And yes, it is JAR certified.

Well. I know first hand that the B200 sim over there is JAA approved. Don't know about the 350. kinda strange if it isn't...Guess the only way to find out is to give em a call.

That said, the ProLine 21 KingAirs does not require a separate type rating. But I suppose u already know that.

I was at FS in Wichita last September and was the first one to acquire a JAR certified typerating on B200, just one week after the sim was checked out by CAA. So, the B200 sim with Proline 21 is defnitely certified and registered as UK/FS-477Z. I have heard that C90GTi is now also JAA certified.

Yet the problem is that the B350 is a different typerating and I don't know whether those sims are certified for JAA training.

Slightly off-topic (atleast when it comes to the 350) - does anyone know where there are JAA approved B200 sims around? It seems that our usual training provider CAE in Dallas will be FAA approved only as of spring 2009.

We have previouly used FS in Farnborough and Paris, but at least compared to CAE they are way too expensive.

Ohh - by the way - Collins efis85 preferred.

Thanks

B200 Sims:

Haven't Multiflight at Leeds Bradford got one? Don't know whether it's JAA approved for type ratings.

Multiflight have an FNPTII kitted out as a King Air, can't be used for type rating training.

I too have used the Proline21 200 sim in Wichita, def JAA approved as is the 90GTi sim now.

Surprised the 350 sim isn't.
